Partnering with Gooding to promote the two concerts are the City of Orlando, Cox Media Group Orlando, and The Bob Carr Theater. "It's vital that I find ways to help the young people at both FAMU and B-CU succeed," said Gooding, who lives in Flagler Beach, Florida. "I'm aware of the historic significance of these great Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the contributions they've made to the world. So, I feel that bringing historic recording artists to Orlando to help uplift the two historic universities is the right thing to do."
